FOOT AND MOUTH OUTBREAK

Now that the treat of foot and mouth has receded, Scouting activities may resume. However, all activity Leaders should be cautious and follow the guidelines issued by the Scout Association to minimise any possible risk.

Current guidance for general Scouting activities:

- respect 'No Access' signs;
- stay on marked paths;
- do not go near livestock, especially cows, pigs, sheep, goats and deer;
- use disinfectant where provided;
- clean your boots after each walk.

Stay aware of any current restrictions and follow any advice from MAFF.
